In the city of Futo, criminals use devices similar to USB drives called Gaia Memories (Earth Memories) to transform into powerful monsters known as Dopants, causing chaos and destruction in the city. However, there are also heroes who use Gaia Memories to fight against these criminals, one of whom is a self-proclaimed detective named Shotaro Hidari, who is very cool-headed. With the help of his intelligent assistant, Philip, the two become the legendary heroes of the city, Kamen Rider W. After the museum falls, the evil organization responsible for many of the crimes in Futo, which produces and distributes Gaia Memories, is shut down. However, the remaining Gaia Memories still exist in society and are sold on the black market at high prices. Therefore, the two heroes of the Narumi Detective Agency still have a long way to go before they can rest. Reports of Dopant sightings still exist, and the agency frequently receives clients who claim to have experienced supernatural events. Despite the exhausting nature of this job, Kamen Rider W vows to punish those who harm the city of Futo without hesitation.
